WHAT IS THE DR. ALFONSO NEUROPATHY PROTOCOL?

The Dr. Alfonso Neuropathy Protocol combines multiple treatment therapies which include pulse laser therapy and neuro mechanical stimulation. Each patient receives ongoing re-evaluation and assessment to ensure maximum symptom relief. The successful protocol is a pain-free treatment protocol that can only be provided in a healthcare professional’s office. It is non-invasive and drug-free so there are no concerns about drug interactions. It is completely safe and effective in the treatment of neuropathy pain. Frequently, patients have been able to get off of many medications that can affect them both mentally and physically. Each patient’s care is tailored to his or her own specific condition.

What Is Intensive Spine Care?

Intensive Spine Care consists of treating a patient for 2 weeks 2 times a day 5 days a week for a total of 20 treatment visits. Treatment times may vary between 1- 2 hours per treatment session.
The initial visit day will consist of a comprehensive consultation, examination, digital postural analysis, static and/or digital motion x-rays and a report of findings.

After the in clinic intensive spine care treatment is completed, the patient will return home to perform an in-home rehab program 2 times a day for 90-120 days and then reports back to Sunset Chiropractic and Wellness for a follow up orthopedic and neurological examination/posture analysis/x-rays and possibly another round of care in select cases.

What is Digital Motion X-Ray (DMX)?

Digital motion x-ray (DMX) is an image-intensified fluoroscopic x-ray system that allows the clinician to take x-rays while the patient moves. The digital motion x-ray makes a digital movie of a moving part of the body (spine, hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and TMJ). This amazing digital technology can help diagnose painful conditions that are sometimes missed by motionless x-rays, CAT scans, and MRI’s (magnetic resonance imaging).
