The new patient process begins with a one on one detailed consultation to help the doctor understand your condition and symptoms.
Once the consultation is completed, a comprehensive examination consisting of orthopedic and neurological tests are performed to analyze and locate damage and abnormal functions of the spinal system.
Digital posture analysis and x-rays are then performed and analyzed using 41 measurements and 23 angles to help locate the cause of your spinal conditions and symptoms.
We utilize sitting xrays because it put 50% more stress load on the spinal structures and allows us to identify and diagnosis spinal system damage and failures that do not show up in recumbent MRI and CT scan or standing xray.
Sitting x-rays allows us to test the weight bearing function of the spinal structures and identity the patients individual spinal dysfunctions causing the patients symptoms and functional loss.
Digital motion x-rays (DMX) can help doctors find the problems because it is weight bearing and motion based. DMX provided more information to the doctor on how the joint and structures are functioning in relation to the patient’s symptoms in real-time motion.
DMX (Digital Motion X-ray) is an image-intensified fluoroscopic x-ray system that allows the doctor or clinician to perform x-rays on a patient while moving the joint or body part.

DMX motion x-rays are analyzed with Computerized Radiographic Mensuration Analysis (CRMA) to achieve accurate measures and to determine the extent of the injury.
DMX can provide valuable information about the stability and/or injury of all 22 major ligaments in the cervical spine which cannot be detected by motionless MRI, CT, or Static X-ray.
