Three Major Types of Rehabilitation for Spinal Conditions Used by Structural Correction Chiropractors

Three Major Types of Rehabilitation for Spinal Conditions Used by Structural Correction Chiropractors - Structural Correction Chiropractors
  • Passive – the modality or rehabilitation tool is performing the treatment as the patient is not actively performing the treatment but only receiving the effects without conscious effort. Example: Traction
  • Active- the patient is consciously performing a treatment or movement such as a conscious isotonic or isometric postural exercise.
  • Reactive- the patient involuntarily reacts to stimuli causing unconscious involuntary neuromuscular spinal reflex reaction and reeducation. Example is Spinal Correction Body Weighting.

Three Major Types of Rehabilitation for Spinal Conditions Used by Structural Correction Chiropractors -positive effect on spinal correction rehabilitation and are used synergistically in our system of care.

All 3 forms of Rehabilitation have a positive effect on spinal correction rehabilitation and are used synergistically in our system of care.

The most powerful, efficient and effective is reactive spinal body weighting systems that rehabilitates the involuntary controlling systems of spinal configuration. The application of these rehabilitation procedures via our spinal correction tools will be applied according to case presentation and what is needed specifically for the individual patient.

Gravitational loading of non ideal spinal configuration will cause the body to adapt to best stabilize its current situation. Spinal soft tissues supportive structures of discs, muscle, ligaments, fascia will contract, tighten, harden, and change physiologically to prevent the further collapse of the spinal structure. The abnormal spinal structure position will cause restriction in motion due to improper spinal biomechanical coupling patterns, asymmetrical loading, and spinal rigidity as a result of resistant gravitational injured soft tissue adaptations.

These soft tissue changes require therapies passive and active to decrease the soft tissue resistance and hydration of the avascular discs to prepare the spine to be
mobilized by the spinal adjustments using vector dependent forces based on x-ray measurement spinal model analysis. After adjustment mobilization procedures, the involuntary neurological system in charge of upright spinal configuration and posture
must be rehabilitated through neuromuscular reeducation sensorimotor integration training via a body weighing system.

The weighting system is patient specific determined from stress and training affect xrays. These x-rays will provide the selection of body weighting system type and amount of weight from objective measurable reaction to the rehabilitation tool via x-ray measurements.

The stress and training affect spinal rehabilitation x-ray results will help the doctor determine the selection of home and in office rehab tools and overall treatment procedures selections.

Compliance in office treatment frequency combined with home rehabilitation performed 2 times for a minimum of 90 days is how our spinal correction system creates objective measurable improvement in spinal configuration and posture as symptoms resolve and function improves.

Through our specialized diagnostic procedures
our healthcare team of doctors and therapists identify the cause of the health condition commonly missed by lying down and standing diagnostics such as MRI, CT, and Static X-rays.

Once a treatment plan is developed the first step to rehabilitate a weakened spine is to apply our Flexibility and Hydration Procedures. Specialized therapies that will decrease tight tissues along the spine, bring hydration and nutrients to the damaged discs, and increase spinal flexibility. Preparing the spine for the second component of the treatment.
The Alignment Procedures. This is when the doctor will shift the spine to better alignment based off of the x-ray measurements using hands, specialized instruments, and specialized tables.
After the alignment procedures we want the body to start holding these new positions naturally. This is where we will apply our Strengthening and Reeducation Procedures. This is a specialized body weighting system that will retrain the brain and strengthen the postural muscles along the spine to start holding new positions naturally.

We will combine the in clinic treatment with a home rehabilitation system that’s built specifically from the individual patients’ findings.
The home rehab system we’ll do two things. Speed up our improvements and most importantly teach you how to take care of your spine so you’re less dependent on doctors in the future.

The goal of our care is to have the patient improve symptomatically, functionally, and structurally and most importantly teach you how to take care of your spine so you’re less likely to be dependent on doctors in the future.
