CONCLUSION: The present study demonstrated that the changes in sagittal alignment of the cervical spine affect the kinematics. Consequently, it may cause changes in the segment subjected to maximum load for overall motion and accelerate its degeneration.

Abnormal spinal alignment such as loss of the normal health curves from the side and loss of the straight position of the spine from the front view creates abnormal biomechanical loading and accelerates the breakdown of spinal discs.

The disc damage in most cases is a symptoms of spinal system breakdown and not the primary diagnosis.

Disc herniations, bulges, protrusions, prolapse, extrusion and degeneration in many cases can be treated successfully without drugs or surgery.
