Scoliosis Treatment

What is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis is a lateral (side to side) curvature of the spine, not to be confused with the normal front to back spinal curves which are visible from the side.

Although a small amount of a lateral curve does not usually cause any problems, large curves can cause a variety of health problems such as postural imbalance, muscle fatigue, muscle pain, issues with breathing, and even spinal arthritis.

Scoliosis Treatment – Using the revolutionary “Mix, Fix, Set” protocols devised by Clear Institute, at Sunset Chiropractic & Wellness Dr. Alfonso, can help individuals reverse the symptoms of scoliosis.

What is “Mix, Fix, Set?”

“The Mix” – The fist step in scoliosis correction treatment. Using state-of-the-art equipment specifically designed for these processes, this step helps loosen up the musculature that overtime has evolved into symptoms of scoliosis.

“The Fix” – Once the supporting structures are loosened and have become pliable due to “The Mix” this next step is now possible. Using “The Fix, ” Dr. Alfonso can now begin to direct the spine into proper alignment through a series of safe and effective adjustments.

“The Set” – This last step is designed to re-educate the supporting muscles of the body to hold and maintain an individual’s newly corrected position. At this step, Dr. Alfonso implements a specifically tailored weighting and exercise system designed by Clear that will assist the weak areas of the body to be rebuilt allowing the nervous system to reprogram itself thus making each correction permanent.
